About me

I thought i'd start a blog for some reason, not sure why really. I enjoy writing, i wrote a short story of about 10000 words which will be probably linked to that "short story" text 16 words ago in thw near future-if i keep this up. You'll find links to amazon, YouTube etc etc so you can look at what I'm on about in more depth.

So about then.......

First off, I'm not a shameless self promoter, I'd rather see what i do do the talking-but still waiting for that to happen. 

I'm in my late 30's, father of 1 toddlett who's going on 13, partner of a patient woman who puts up with my phases and seems to enjoy my company.

So why start a blog? I enjoy writing and also reading. I'd say i'm a creative, and i need an outlet of some sorts. Haven't got the patience to be a writer, just isn't me- yet. I remain an avid reader- realizing a couple of years ago that there's literally thousands of books that were written during and before the 20th century which I've stupidly overlooked. I started off with "to kill a mocking bird", then Steinbecks "grapes of wrath"- two great reads but a tad dark.  I have the "heart of darkness" by Joseph Conrad on half on the kindle as well as "the hangman's song" by James Oswald-the former written published in 1899 and the later published a few months back on kindle only.
